12/16/2017 0 Comments how to procrastinateConsidering that this was supposed to be posted in December, I'd say that the subject of this post is quite appropriate. This is me calling myself out on the Internet. It's like taking a bite out of a hot slice of pizza and it immediately burning your tongue. It's painful but you don't regret it. Maybe, I'm the only one who feels this way because I tend to burn my taste buds off almost every time I eat pizza. But back to the lesson of procrastination. Here's how it's done, folks. Step 1: Grab a snack or a three-course meal. There's nothing more distracting to do when you're feeling bored and unmotivated than to start eating. It's a "horrid habit" but it stops you from being productive. Step 2: Listen to music. Whether it's Spotify, Pandora, or Apple Music, having a jam session in your bedroom or in the library while you're trying to do homework is a great way to not get stuff done. Step 3: Watch YouTube videos. YouTube is man-made black hole. You can be watching a thread of videos for hours before you realize you have responsibilities to tend to. It certainly keeps me up at night. Conclusion: Obviously, you could perform these procrastinating tasks in any order. I sure have. But let's focus on the positive: You've got a full stomach. You did lil song and dance. And you learned a little something about the art of lip syncing and whether Jimmy Fallon or Emma Stone is a master of it. (I think we all know the answer to that, am I right?) All in all, this is the result of someone who doesn't have their life together and didn't know what to write about. Wow, I am SO #relatableteen. Have a joyous day, folks. signing off, plain-j
